Boards & Colors

One recommendation, not a catalog.

TimberTech makes dozens of boards. You don't need to compare dozens of boards. These are the board lines we actually install, why each exists, and the colors we recommend most. At your visit you get one clear number for the deck we recommend, and if you want to see what a different board line would do to it, we can show you that too. The same code-perfect structure sits under every one of them: we never cut the safety.

How we recommend

We pick the board line we would put on your deck, price that, and tell you why. That call is about the deck and how you live on it, not about the biggest number. Usually the answer is Prime+, our least expensive line, because it honestly looks that good and the money is better spent on the structure underneath. When a deck earns the step up, a pool surround, heavy traffic, or a house that calls for the architectural grade, we will say that too, and show you what it costs.

Our recommendation for most decks

TimberTech Prime+

This is the board we install more than any other. Capped composite with the wood look, none of the staining and sealing, and a 25-year fade and stain warranty, at the price point that makes most resurfacing budgets work.

The step up

TimberTech PRO, Reserve Collection

A step up in grain realism and scratch resistance, with a 30-year fade and stain warranty. Worth it on high-traffic decks, pool surrounds, and anywhere dogs and furniture slide around.

When we steer you here

If your deck is the main path to a pool or hot tub, hosts big gatherings, or you simply want deeper, hand-scraped grain underfoot, PRO is the honest middle answer: noticeably nicer than Prime+, meaningfully cheaper than PVC.

The architectural grade

TimberTech Advanced PVC

No wood fibers at all, which means the lightest colors stay cool and clean, the boards weigh less on your frame, and the warranty runs up to 50 years. This is the architectural grade, the board for the deck you never want to think about again.

Built from recycled material, made in the USA

TimberTech composite boards are made with up to 80% recycled wood and plastic, and they are manufactured in the USA. Your old deck's replacement keeps material out of the landfill, and it never asks for stain again.

We also install Trex. If you have your heart set on it, say so at the visit and we'll price it for you.

The colors on this page are the ones we recommend most, not the whole list. Photos get you close. Samples in your own backyard light settle it. Every color we install rides in the truck, so if something in the catalog catches your eye, we go get that sample and put it in your hands before we leave. If you already have your eye on something you do not see here, tell us when you book and we will bring that sample with us. Every estimate visit brings boards you can hold and your exact price, same visit.
