Payment schedule
Every project is paid in three equal installments:
| 1/3 · At contract signing | The deposit. This reserves your build slot and covers material ordering. |

| 1/3 · At project start | When materials are delivered and work begins. |
| 1/3 · After the final walkthrough | Due after your deck is built, inspected, and walked with you, with any remaining touch-up items written down and scheduled. Your contract calls this point substantial completion. |
A note on Maryland law: home improvement deposits in Maryland
are capped at one third of the contract price, and we never ask for the final
payment until your deck is built, inspected, and walked with you. If any
contractor asks for more up front, that is a red flag, ours included.
